Yes, many of you are on spring break!
And who says spring break, says "finding activities" to get those little darlings moving.
So I thought I'd give you some activity ideas so your little ones can expend the energy they often have in industrial quantities and keep them away from their screens as much as possible.
You will need:
- Roll of colored tape
- Puzzles *large pieces* preferably.
- 1 laundry basket
- Colored leaves
- Plastic glasses
- A ball
- The first activity I suggest is to use colored tape to draw a hopscotch game on the floor. It takes 5 minutes to work and will provide hours of fun for your little ones.
- The second activity, still using tape, involves drawing 4-5 lines at a distance of 1 foot from each. Then, play the long jump game. Laughter and fun guaranteed.
- The third activity, with the 4-5 lines drawn previously for the long jump game, you place at least 3 feet from the last line, a pyramid of plastic cups & you play bowling with a ball. Very fun! Try it
- Fourth activity, you place 4 sheets of paper of different colors on the floor and ask your kids to find items in the house that match the colors of the boxes. Very good game for kids who are learning colors.
- Fifth activity, for example, you take a wooden puzzle and play hide-and-seek with the puzzle pieces. The goal is to complete the puzzle as quickly as possible. The goal is to work as a team!
So now it's your turn! It's your turn to move :)
